Position Summary:

The Tactical Systems team is seeking a mid-level software engineer to join our team providing engineering development, sustainment, operations, and maintenance for Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) missions and users.  Tactical Systems is part of the Missions and Payloads business that integrates sensors, payloads and intelligence to provide mission support and vertical content for our customers.

Position Responsibilities:     

• Software design, implement, test, and maintenance related documentation
• Software development in Java, C++, C#.
• Software development accessing MongoDB or other noSQL databases.
• System administration and environment set-up utilizing Puppet, scripting (Pearl / Python), Linux & Windows.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years’ related work experience, 5 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) that has been successfully completed within the last 5 years. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
• Must have B.S. or higher in technical field
• 3+ years of experience doing software development
• 1+ years’ experience programming in MongoDB or other noSQL environment
• 2+ years C++, C#, Java experience
• Must have Linux & Windows OS administration experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years doing puppet, scripting (Pearl / Python)
• Experience with Fortran, HTML, Node.js, Oracle
• Devops experience, automated build and test
• ESRI desktop / Java Openmap API
