Data Warehouse ETL Tester – Quantico, VA ESSENTIAL DUTIES Develop test strategies, test plans, and execute test cases for ETL processes. Develop and execute detailed ETL related functional, performance, integration and regression test cases, and documentation. Design and develop SQL scripts to generate test data, and compare expected vs. actual data created by ETL processes. Review data and reporting for accuracy, functionality, and consistency. Test other team members’ Informatica PowerCenter work products, and perform code reviews. Utilize design documentation to create functional test case requirements. Analyze Informatica PowerCenter objects to create technical test case requirements. Create technical products and provide recommendations regarding performance improvements, best practices, and fulfilling requirements. Develop documentation and project artifacts to support solution delivery. Support to technical and operational activities. Assist in the development of technical and operational processes, documentation, and plans. Assist in the implementation of technical and operational activities. Collaborate with data modelers, systems analysts, data warehouse developers, ETL developers, etc. and uphold quality management standards for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and productivity Supports execution of enterprise data warehouse (EDW) development strategy. Use Informatica PowerCenter and MDM tools to support EDW solution development. Participate in team’s daily technical activities, including requirements analysis, ETL development, testing, and release processes. Informatica PowerCenter mappings, workflows, jobs, and other ETL processes. Follow Agile SDLC and participate in scrum development activities. Support Master Data Management (MDM) solution development. Alert key personnel of operational problems and suggest potential solutions or methods for collecting additional information. Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, andor other thought leadership materials.
