ETL/SQL Developer & Data Analyst

Description * The individual will be accountable for successful design, development and delivery of SQL solutions within a SQL Server environment.

* An ideal candidate will analyze, develop, validate and maintain processes for a Medicaid encounter batch processing system using data warehouse techniques.

* Extract data from claims platforms and transform data Medicaid encounter processing using SSIS, SQL and stored procedures in a MS SQL Server environment.

* Data will be loaded to an operational data store (ODS) integrated into a multi-dimensional model.

Job Description * Strong experience using SSIS as the ETL tool in a data warehouse environment.* Interact with end users and business analysts to understand requirements.* SQL Server development, including but not limited to stored procedures and views.* Designs and implements technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes.* Creates data validation rules on source data to confirm the data has correct and/or expected values.* Performs data profiling of source data to identify data quality issues and anomalies, business knowledge embedded in data, understanding of natural keys.

Minimum Qualifications * 5 years experience with health care provider, enrollment/eligibility and claims data* 2-5 years writing complex SQL queries* 2-5 years ETL
– preferably SSIS* Proficient with star and snowflake schemas* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, accounting, finance or equivalent* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.* Experience with behavioral health Medicaid data in multiple claims platforms is a plus* Experience with ANSI X12 837, 835 and 277 is a plus* Experience of Visual Studio .Net is a plus* Experience with Tableau, SSRS or other BI reporting tools is a plus.* Ability to adapt to different projects and assignments quickly.* Team player with strong communication skills
