What you will be doing: 
Guiding the technical decisions for work performed by the Enterprise Pod, our cross-functional agile team that is focused on our Enterprise product.  Partnering with the Enterprise Product Director to provide technical perspective and estimates for product planning, enabling Business and Product stakeholders to make informed decisions and ensure the team has enough context to execute efficiently.

Facilitating alignment and understanding of technical approaches for projects worked on within your Pod.

Regularly meet with other engineering stakeholders to ensure the Enterprise Pod’s work is consistent with the broader team’s technical direction and values.

Being hands-on in the code when necessary to help the Pod achieve its objectives.

You’ll be performing code reviews on a daily basis as well.

Being an owner of team’s agile process by engaging with all team members on the work they are doing and proactively identifying and removing technical blockers for team members

What we are looking for: 
Extensive hands-on software engineering experience and expertise building backend systems.

PHP experience is ideal, and experience collaborating on mobile products will be helpful.

Proficient at taking large, complicated technical projects and breaking down the work into clear stages and deliverables across multiple platforms.  Experience as a cross-functional technical leader and mentor with a track record of inclusive cultures and results.

While you won’t have any direct reports, this is a visible technical leadership role.

Someone who thrives in a fast-paced agile environment.

Priorities can change and we’re looking for someone who can embrace change and help the team move forward with a positive, action-oriented attitude.

Clear communicator in a variety of contexts and someone with a strong tendency towards documentation and other modes of distributing knowledge.

Experience in the digital healthcare world working with health plans and employers is a big plus.
