Job CategoryCustomer Success Group Job Details SFDO Professional Services is seeking an Engagement Manager (EM) whose primary responsibility will be supporting pre-Sales activities for enterprise Professional Services projects.
This role demands deep technical expertise, strong soft skills, leadership presence, knowledge of the Nonprofit and Higher Education industries, and the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment!
Key Responsibilities Pre-Sales SupportThe EM will work with CSG Account Partners (services sales) and Account Teams (product sales) to define, scope, propose, and close SFDO Professional Services opportunities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Driving strategic alignment with the customer * Understanding customer business requirements * Defining desired business outcomes * Assessing feasibility * Leading discovery * Assembling functional and technical requirements * Identifying customer support and training needs * Assessing skills requirements for staffing and successful delivery * Scoping work packages * Coordinating technical and other internal resources * Estimating delivery hours * Supporting sales presentations * Writing SOWs * Communicating with customer executives and technical personnel * Negotiating large contracts * Contributing to Sales-to-Services handoffs The EM will assure that all the elements of the Sales process, contractual documents, and handoff to Professional Services promote successful customer engagements!
Position Requirements This position requires proven success in the following areas: * 7+ years delivering professional services * Understanding of customer business drivers, strategic objectives, and desired outcomes * Consultative selling approach that drives Services bookings and project success * Collaboration with Sr.
Architects to optimally scope projects * Development of proposals and SOWs reflecting implementation standard methodologies and focusing on measurable impact * Assembling of project team including internal resources, systems integrators, ISVs and other parties as needed * Enterprise-level digital transformation * Salesforce Platform expertise * Nonprofit and/or Higher Education industry expertise * Technical writing for contracts, specifications, or functional documentation * Requirements capturing and user story writing * Management of multiple, concurrent, fast paced work streams * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work both collaboratively and independently * Ability to influence partners at the executive level The following Salesforce.com certifications are required: * Salesforce Administrator * Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant * Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant The following Salesforce.com certifications are preferred: * Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Consultant * Salesforce Education Cloud Consultant * Salesforce Advanced Administrator * Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant * Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant * Salesforce Platform App Builder * Salesforce Platform Developer I For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $142,000 You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
