This role will be responsible for the development of an industry leading suite of tools leveraged by our Branch Teams including 17,000+ Financial Advisors.
The team provides technology leadership, development, support, enhancements, and projects for the Cash Account and Services space.
What You Will Do:Develop and maintain Branch Team systems utilizing required technologies such as :Java/J2EEJavascript / QueryJSPHTML/CSSWebLogicSpring/Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring BatchDB2 and/or ORACLETesting frameworks JUnitCode Mgt Github,Translate business requirements into system design, work directly with Business Analysts on requirements, prepare detailed technical specs, and provide estimatesProvide system support, including On Call rotation, troubleshoot, and resolveResponsible for applying business and technical knowledge to ensure availability of our systems and complete moderately complex program assignmentsAssist with defining and meeting business requirements What You Will Need:Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science preferred or related work experienceAcademic background in Java application development, ideally supplemented with industry experience or Internships1-2 years of experience in IT/Java strongly preferredFamiliarity with DevOps, CI/CD or Agile practices and processesREACT is a plus* This position does not provide sponsorship, and the candidate must reside in the United States.* FORTUNE 2020 Edward Jones was named No.
