Our team supports our Financial Advisors through providing timely support and insight into the status of their requests utilizing various tools to communicate with clients as well as home office Operations and Service areas.

What You’ll Do Duties include providing high-quality solutions by coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining programs.

Developing and modifying complex systems involving most phases of systems analysis and programmingAnalyze, code, test and document programs and enhancementsProvide program and system level estimatesConduct code reviews with other associates using Pull Requests in GitHib to ensure quality codeProvide system support and participate in the teams on-call support rotationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field preferredOpen System development skills such as Java, JEE, JSP, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, REST, JSON, Junit, Thymeleaf, Kubernetes, Microservices, GIT, SQL, Shell Scripting, Javascript, HTML, HTML5 and XML are requiredKnowledge and experience with any of the following technologies is a plus:ReactKafkaSplunkAzureA minimum of 3+ years of Java development experience along with good analysis and trouble-shooting skills are requiredStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues in business termsKnowledge of financial services industry is a plusAbility to design, develop, test, document and implement quality software within targeted timeframesExperience or training in the AGILE project management methodology is a plusPersons requiring sponsorship for an employment visa are ineligible for this position FORTUNE 2020 Edward Jones was named No.
