Our key systems include Salesforce Service Cloud, multiple web-based applications and batch programs.
We are responsible for supporting and enhancing existing systems and developing technology solutions that support and enhance service and operation divisions in alignment with firms vision.
This role will bring you into contact with a diverse array of stakeholders from each area of the Technology division and will require solid collaboration skills as well as a belief in continuous improvement.
This is an exceptional challenge and opportunity for someone who is excited for rapid change and continuous learning.What youll doAs a Salesforce DevOps Technical Consultant, you will help design, configure, code, test implement, enhance and support DevOps pipelines, using the leading-edge technologies on Cloud platform.
Serves as one of the primary DevOps technical consultant for the Salesforce team.
Undertakes the most complex IT projects involving multiple disciplines or layers, some of which impact multiple business units.Actively monitor the competitive landscape for new players and participates in industry forums, technical conferences, and standards groups as the technical leader for the company.Be the key liaison with external business partners supporting R& D efforts and ensure strategic partners deliver on commitments and key milestones.Technical understanding of Salesforce metadata and entitiesSupport multiple applications across all working environments Developing, testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting the DevOps workflowsDeveloping tools to facilitate automated testing, performance monitoring, resiliency analysis, deploymentsKnowledge and understanding of the latest trends in DevSecOps methodologies, processes, and tools (Jenkins pipeline, SonarQube), as well as emerging solutions and the ability to apply them when appropriateExperience with Version Control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Git Actions etc.) and system registration, setup, branching strategy, environment strategy, etc.Facilitate release activities across all Salesforce development teams, ensuring easy and timely deployments across environmentsBachelors Degree or equivalent work experienceAt least 8 years of experience working with Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment tools and DevOps toolsMinimum of 4 years of proven experience in delivering Salesforce DevOps, Quality Engineering, in an Agile environmentExperience with Salesforce DX structure, scratch orgs, and packaging or any other CI/CD platform (Copado, Folsom, AutoRabit, Gearset, SalesForce DevOps Center) FORTUNE 2020 Edward Jones was named No.
