Title EDI Specialist 3 Overview of Position Designs, implements, and supports electronic commerce solutions.

Responsibilities may also include application development in support of healthcare EDI transaction processing.

Provides recommendations on the process improvements related to implementation processes and leads the efforts to create improvements.

Responsible for EDI workflow design and construction, web portal configuration, and day-to-day production application support.

Develops advanced EDI edits and business rules using industry tools and applications such as EDISIM, Instream, and Transaction Insight.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

Solves and remedies complex problems (e.g.

missing item errors, issues requiring coordination with other business groups for final resolution); recommends and implements corrective actions.

Partners with project managers and provides input to define the EDI portion of the project plan; leads EDI implementation and testing initiatives.

Develops solutions requiring integration of applications with and without variations/special processing requirements for internal and external partners.

Works directly with customers and interface groups to translate customer needs into EDI system requirements, takes a lead on the initiation aspects of a project.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2012) Linux navigation and research experience Experience writing SQL queries Working knowledge of command line processes within both Windows and Linux operations systems.

Experience working with clients and internal business partners as a member of an implementation team (collect, analyze, construct, and support technical requirements for client implementations).

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

Experience in Python development.

Experience in Java development.

 Familiar with TIBCO (Foresight, BW, BE, EMS) Familiar with web service APIs Familiar with EDI edits and batch transaction workflow development.
