They grow and cultivate multiple teams of diverse, smart, and mission driven software engineers and managers, set annual goals, and connect the teams’ deliverables to company objectives.Aledade has a US based permanently remote engineering and product team.Here’s what you’ll do:* Operationalize and scale up data products developed in collaboration with other Engineering leaders, Product Managers and Field Operations* Drive excellence in software development practice through thought leadership, mentoring and managing execution of critical projects with data and metrics* Help drive company-wide adoption of system engineering practices and workflows by contributing to software architecture* Mentor, grow and develop developers at all career levels to nurture a strong problem solving culture* Actively drive the management of software releases and developer experience, including strong thought leadership in introducing internal tools that increase velocity, visibility and usability of software* Improve, maintain and manage the lifecycle of legacy systems, with a strong focus on reliability, observability, documentation, security, performance, and costRequirements:* 10+ years of experience; proven track record of delivering software at an enterprise scale* Experience leading development teams directly and indirectly, including through mentoring, thought leadership and career management* Experience cultivating talent and hiring software engineers of different skill sets and levels of experience* Deep understanding in how to incrementally approach large, complex problems, given only high-level requirements and use cases* Familiarity with objectively assessing different software engineering options in terms of advantages and disadvantages of various code development management practices (examples include microservices vs.
monoliths, mono-repos vs.
shared packages, etc.)* Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills* Experience developing and utilizing data and metrics to hold individuals and teams accountable to commitmentsBonus points if you also have:* Experience scaling an existing system to keep pace with exponential business growthAll prospective hires will be required to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated, including booster shots, against COVID-19 with a COVID-19 vaccine for which the U.S.
Food and Drug Administration has issued a license or an Emergency Use Authorization prior to mutually-agreed upon start date at Aledade, unless they qualify for a medical or religious accommodation to this vaccination requirement.
