Job Description: The Role We are seeking a results-oriented and motivated associate who thrives working with internal and external teams to deliver outstanding Debit Card products and services.
This role will focus in the Lending, Alternatives and Cash Management Product Area within the Debit Card Squad and be a part of the Client Solutions Business Chapter.
Responsibilities of the job will include the following: Working on key initiatives related to modernizing the experience, decommissioning the legacy OLTX platform, reducing dependency on mainframe platforms, moving to a real-time processing infrastructure, and innovating new mobile experiences related to the debit card offering Active participation in and/or leading defining requirements, understanding business & technology needs, and writing Agile stories to help advance the infrastructure and assist with system & process improvements Participating in and leading readiness and rollout activities related to production releases Performing business testing focused on new functionality, operational processes, and end user experience Implementing, measuring, and utilizing metrics & data to aid in identifying enhancement and improvement opportunities Participating in the prioritization of the squad work (in partnership with Squad Leader & Scrum Master) to deliver value based on an understanding of business and system needs Helping to conduct key research and analysis to prioritize squad work.
This includes external competitor analysis and strategic thinking mindset to demonstrate continued innovation The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor’s Degree required 8 years of proven experience in financial services, with focus in debit cards, cash management and/or credit card experience is preferred Understanding and previous experience in Fidelity’s PWI distribution model, digital experience platforms, advisory offerings, and financial planning capabilities is preferred Strong analytical and interpersonal skills Ability to think and work across Fidelity with a client obsessed mindset Ability to navigate multiple partners and processes to simplify communications and client engagement experiences while maintaining compliance and regulatory standards.
This includes working with our outside vendors that issue and provide front line customer service Strategy and execution skills to run impactful programs aligned to strategic plans & objectives Strong presentation and persuasion skills to achieve consensus with multiple audiences Listening skills to integrate different perspectives and achieve better outcomes Possess an agile mindset; also familiarity with Agile process & tools including possessing good story-writing skills is preferred
