Job Description: Director, DC Innovation Marketing As a Marketing Director focused on Defined Contribution (DC) / 401k plan Innovation, you’ll blend business and digital marketing expertise with a passion for launching new products and driving Lead Gen efforts.

Working within a cross-functional team, you will use your expertise to develop digital marketing strategies focused on bringing innovative new retirement plan products and services to market.

Currently those products include Fidelity Advantage 401(k) a Pooled Employee 40(k) Plan and 3(16) Administration a service that takes on the fiduciary responsibility for clients by managing their 401(k).

You will also be committed to maintaining and developing your digital marketing skills to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.

The successful candidate will be a critical member of Fidelity’s Workplace Investing (WI) Product Marketing team, while working directly with the DC Innovation Tribe, in an Agile structure.

The Team The WI Product Marketing team is looking for a curious, passionate, marketer who has a strong digital background with product launch and Lead Gen experience and enjoys working in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.

Your responsibilities will include developing and executing an integrated Lead Gen and Lead Nurturing marketing plan for new products, working closely with your marketing team and product team counterparts to coordinate activities and messaging.

The Expertise You Have Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred 10 years developing strategy and executing marketing initiatives with large cross-functional teams Experience in B2B marketing, ideally some in financial Product, Segment, or Brand management Experience with SalesForce Marketing Cloud products and services Experience in a digitally led sales organization is a plus Experience in a startup environment is also a plus The Skills You Bring Track record of building and deploying primarily digital marketing strategies across a wide range of integrated channels keeping in mind the E2E experience from marketing through sales to client onboarding Crafting convincing stories with PowerPoint for internal stakeholders Creative and strategic spark – excitement about blending creativity and analysis Track record of thriving in an ever-evolving market Data-driven approach to understanding client needs and optimizing marketing strategy Ability to stand up deeper-funnel communications in service of an end-to-end digital customer journey Energized by working collaboratively to deliver agreed business outcomes A background or interest in understanding retirement products and the different roles service providers play in servicing employers today The ability to work with sales and relationship management as needed to support the education, awareness and interest in a new service, 3(16) Administration , developed through DC Innovation development.
