The role of data will be integral, helping the business understand overall performance and key opportunities for growth.

You will lead a strong team of collaborative data engineers who are passionate in their domain and value data provides.

Your experience working with stakeholders across finance, marketing, and operations will be key to our success.

Your ability to support technology architecture sessions and collaborative decision making across teams will ensure we deliver long-term, high-value business capabilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES Technical Duties Develop and champion the data platform architecture, standards, tools, and capabilities.

Support technical architecture design sessions to identify the right technologies that fit our needs Drive and manage the teams Agile & SDLC processes to ensure high-quality and timely feature delivery.

Drive efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our daily operations and release cycles, coordinating with other teams as needed.

Develop and Deploy processes to support Data governance; Meta-data management; Data quality; and Data Security.

Align with product team to support and oversee the development backlog to meet business commitments.

Manage day-to-day tactical team operations Leadership Duties Develop a team of high performing data engineering professionals across engineering, architecture, standards, and governance, using both full time resources and contractors Develop team members professional capabilities through performance management, soft skills management, and technical skillsets.

Drive the technical roadmap and strategy by fostering relationships with key stakeholders in Finance, Marketing, and Operations.

Lead data governance and stewardship programs Achieve business goals by fostering innovation and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future solutions.

Partner with engineering peers in the development of our enterprise architecture, best practices, and operating models.

Manage day-to-day functions of team such as time approval, expense approval, and recurring meetings.

Manage relationship with external vendors and systems to provide data, ensure standards, meet security requirements, and enable business partners Create and manage project budget, scope and delivery plans to ensure on-time and in-budget delivery Monitor all non-fixed costs including contractors and cloud services Direct the development, implementation and enterprise wide adoption of tools, systems, and processes designed to support the organizations information and data needs.

Perform other duties as assigned Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years managing, operating and designing data warehouses 5+ years working in an enterprise environment with multiple source systems and need to consolidate and unify for analytics.

5+ years managing a team of engineers and developers 5+ years in Data Governance and Data Quality Management 5+ years in technical development / engineering roles 5+ years executing and growing SDLC concepts including application lifecycle management, release management, and continuous delivery.

Practical experience across a broad range of tools and patterns in the data space, including SQL, Snowflake, PowerBI, Proven verbal, presentation, and written communications skills across technical, non-technical, and senior management audiences EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree preferred, but candidates with deep, real-world, practical experience regardless of education will be highly valued The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc.

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel.

The range listed is just one component of Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc.s total compensation package for employees.

Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Denver area base salary range: $118,000
