DTS is looking for experienced DevOps Engineer for our client project in Troy, MI No third party C2C allowed.

Candidates have to work directly with us on our W-2.

DevOps Engineer About the Position The DevOps Engineer role is to combine the practices and tools to increase the ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity with a higher collaboration between development and operations team.

This individual will be responsible for working with Middleware team on webapplication server configurationtuning and Custom Development team to automate the deployment process for Alfa which is a third-party product for servicing and managing auto loans.

This person must be a ldquodoerrdquo and will have demonstrated a high degree of collaboration in previous roles.

This role must have experience in system administration of operating systems such as Linux, DevOps processestools to support the builddeploy automation of code components and configuration of monitoring tools to both monitor serverapplication components.

This role is responsible for supporting performance tuning (in LinuxUnix platform).

Applicant will work closely with a variety of groups throughout the organization, which will require the ability to communicate with associates with backgrounds ranging from Database Administrationoperations, Application Support, Networking, Business Users etc., from a wide range of operating units.

The successful candidate must also exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills and have experience interacting with internal technical and business partners as well as external partners.

Experience with on-shore and off-shore contractors is a plus.

Qualifications Mandatory 6 years overall IT experience covering system administration and DevOps suite of tools.

Must have 4 years of experience in DevOps environment working with various Middleware technologies Integration Platforms with primary focus on install, upgrades and configuration for large scale complex enterprise grade solutions Must have 4 years of experience in system administration of various environments that includes Linux, Solaris, VM ware etc.

including installing, upgrading and configuring these environments for HA Finance Industry experience Hands on experience on applicationweb servers ndash JBoss EAP 6.x, Apache Hands on experience in configuring DevOps monitoring tools (create dashboards, alerts, URL monitoring, event notification etc.) using ScienceLogic, Splunk, AppDynamics including creating custom dashboards, monitors and alerts Support build and deployment automation of code, database and configurations using tools such as ANT, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy and Ansible Coordinate with Network team to establishing connectivity with external systems through firewall openings Expertise in scripting using Shell, Python, Perl scripts etc.

Working knowledge of SQL skills Experience with Messaging (JMS, IBM MQ) and Message Oriented Middleware Must have experience with XMLXSLXSLTXSD, SOAP, WSDL, AXIS2, HTTP and REST services Look for areas for improvement in monitoring, application stability and speed of determining root cause through the use of monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Splunk and ScienceLogic) Analyze and standardize configuration files across the various application environments for custom build solution and third-party solutions that include Alfa and Quadient Inspire Support automation of job scheduler through Control-M including batch supporttroubleshooting of Alfa product business processes such as DailyMonthly end-of-day process Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, research and resolution Contribute to documentation of key artifacts such as installation guide, run book, deployment plan etc.
