These areas deliver an incredible amount of value to our customers and generate strong revenue for the company and as such, the potential for growth within this space presents a unique opportunity.Who are you: You are a full stack engineer who enjoys working on projects and being an individual contributor You execute well with a high degree of individual ownership, but are also adept working as part of a team You’re interested in the new developments of the open source community You collaborate with your peers to deliver high-quality and customer impacting solutionsWhat you’ll do: Work with product owners to understand desired initiatives and implement application capabilities Contribute to the web platform, codebase, and developer experience that supports-and other internal initiatives Own delivery of features and system enhancements from technical design through production deployment and support to ensure a fast and reliable experience for our customers Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community-Capital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunity.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree At least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering At least 2 years of experience with container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad) At least 1 year of experience with distributed database systems (Cassandra, ElasticSearch) At least 1 year of experience with Cloud Native technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)-Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of experience developing web applications using JavaScript 2 years of experience with deploying clustered web services Experience developing and maintaining microservices on AWS architecture Experience using modern build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Docker, etc.At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.-No agencies please.
