This contract role as an Developer in Chicago, IL is responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining existing and new applications; knowing one or more programming languages; knowing one or more development methodologies / delivery models alongside the Domain expertise in Healthcare. This position requires extensive data and integration experience. An integration or data architecture background is preferred, but not required.

Requirements:

*Bachelor Degree and 5 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 year Information Technology experience OR 9 years Information Technology experience. Master’s degree (in a technical related subject) preferred but not required.

*Possess ability to manage workload, manage multiple priorities, and manage conflicts with customers/employees/managers, as applicable. Furthermore, ability to direct / manage a team of integration designers, developers, and testers in building large scale, complex integrations throughout a modern data ecosystem.

• Architecture Knowledge of CA PPM application configuration and limitations

• Experience in cloud computing (SaaS / PaaS).

• Experience in DevOps and/or continuous deployment and/or integration process and tools (Jira, RallyDev, Bamboo, GitHub, Jenkins).

• Experience in integration technologies

• Experience in iterative and/or agile and/or scrum development.

• Problem solving / analytical thinking.

• Rapid prototyping

• At least 5 years of experience in functional modules (like Project Management, Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Time Sheet Management, Financial Management, Demand Management and Jasper Reports, CA PPM Studio) of CA PPM.

• Good understanding of CA PPM Administration like Time Period Setup, Resource Setup, Project Financials, User Security, Jobs setup and scheduling, Processes, Jaspersoft Report scheduling, Financial setup, new UX

• At least 3 years’ experience in CA PPM 15.x in using CA PPM Clarity Studio, new UI functionalities, capabilities and configuration

• Knowledge of report development Jaspersoft will be added advantage.

• Extensive experience in GEL Script, REST API, Process development, Integrations, XOG

• Data Architecture knowledge of the CA PPM (15.x)

Responsibilities:

*Participate in design reviews, code reviews, unit testing and integration testing.

*Assume ownership and accountability for the assigned deliverables through all phases of the development lifecycle.

*SDLC Methodology (Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development).

*System performance management.

*Systems change / configuration management.

*Business requirements management.

*Problem solving /analytical thinking.

• Troubleshooting issues related to various modules in CA PPM for users

• Resolves incidents and fulfills requests using incident and request management processes under general guidance. Escalates via workflow as needed.

• Interact with Vendor Support to resolve issues related to environment, performance etc

• Proactively identifies problems, root cause and permanently resolves problems.

• Ability to execute requirements into solution

Preferred Job Qualifications:



*Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
