RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Remote Data Scientist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (PA). Summary: The Remote Data Scientist will be tasked with advising and implementing services of large-scale data and modeling ecosystems supporting regulatory reporting and related analytics, data management and related security requirements and governance. The Remote Data Scientist will also partner to drive innovation across business and core environments to leverage technology investments across multiple platforms. The candidate in this role will also participate in setting engagement objectives and scope working with key stakeholders and external partners as required, and will also develop technical implementation plans, architecture blueprints and prototypes, mentor technical teams, and support building out fault-tolerant application, platform, and analytical architectures.
Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 7+ years recent hands-on experience with Python-pandas/ SPARK/ Scala code development and Software engineering
- Cloudera, Hadoop data management, and application integration experience is required
- Hands on experience with Data Virtualization technologies
- Well versed with CI/CD tooling – GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Automated testing tools
- Must have excellent communication skills
