Applies and integrates statistical, mathematical, predictive modeling and business analysis skills to manage and manipulate complex high-volume data from a variety of sources Job Summary The DSE Solutions Engineer is a self-starter who works on back-end systems using technologies such as Java, Python, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Containers (Docker).

Candidates are passionate about developing in a fast-paced, small, agile environment.

Engineers work to build out CI pipelines, application features, and work closely with Data Scientists to bring to models into production.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills RequirementsDemonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field of Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years of software development experience Demonstrated Big Data experience including experience with Python, Elastic Map Reduce (EMR) and Athena Demonstrated experience with Jupyter notebooks in prototyping or collaboration with Data Scientists Demonstrated experience integrating data science models and transitioning into production Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: Java, Linux, Postgres, Web Services Demonstrated experience containerizing applications with Docker Demonstrated experience with REST based web-services frameworks such as Spring Boot, Jersey, Flask, etc.
