Erwin is the main tool and is a must.

They will need to be able to connect to and understand relational data sources such as Oracle and Postgres, but not necessarily working inside those products.

Project project is an Enterprise Data Platform, cloud based, that is supporting many of the analytics use cases around the company.

There is some common model work, talking to stakeholders, getting input regarding the standard model, and helping gain consensus.

Theyrsquore focusing first on a Work and Asset Mgmt model, which will likely be the focus for this role.

The model will be up and running with V1 by the time this person arrives, and theyrsquod be taking over and expanding on that model.

As a Senior Data Modeler you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients.

As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

Responsibilities Be a subject matter expert for all data modeling activities Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with both internal and external team members of various experience level Partners with client’s data modeling team to produce conceptual, logical and physical modeling artifacts to support business applications Evaluate data models and physical databases for variance and discrepancies and validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications 5-10 years of experience as an SeniorLead Data Modeler or Senior Data Solution Lead.

Experience in understanding and translating business needs into conceptual data model supporting long term initiatives.

Experience in understanding, analyzing and implementing relational, star, entity-relationship, multi-dimensional and object oriented database models.

Create logical and physical data models using enterprise best practices and standards to ensure high quality and reduced redundancy.

Optimize and update conceptual and physical data models to support new and existing projects.

Expert in Erwin Data Modeling tool Excellent consulting and communication skills.

Ability to adapt and be effective in a fast paced changing environment.

A self-starter who takes ownership of the assignment workstream, ability to work independently.

Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with the attention to detail and accuracy.
