Dashboard Developer for Clinical / Drug Discovery

In this role the candidate will support data processing through an ETL pipeline followed by Tableau dashboard creation.

This is an opportunity to have an impact on ongoing pharmaceutical research and deploy production-level code The candidate will also perform project coordination tasks as a member of the data management team in order to support biomarker discovery and companion diagnostic development efforts.

In the process of performing this work, the candidate will communicate extensively with exploratory biomarker data managers, scientists, research associates, operations managers, clinical data managers, analysts and vendor representatives.

Development Sciences is a translational science organization that plays a critical role Research and Early Development development of products DevSci Informatics is accountable for leading the strategy and execution around data lifecycle management, data standards, analytics infrastructure, ongoing data operations and informatics systems.

Duties include Coordination with internal stakeholders and external business partners Coordination and execution of data ingestion, storage, transformation, and visualization of biomarker data Defining and enhancing ETL pipeline processes to accommodate the large variety of both CRF and non-CRF data Creation of dashboard templates to streamline processing of requests Management of permissions to dashboards and associated data Enforcing best practices in support of FAIRification (ensuring that data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable Reusable) efforts Required skills ETL pipeline development experience Tableau dashboarding experience including the use of Parameters, Action Filters, Level of Detail Expressions, and more Experience scripting in Python, R, and SQL, as well as being comfortable operating in a Linux (Bash) environment are highly encouraged Familiarity with version control platforms such as GitHub or BitBucket Strong understanding of scientific research and clinical trial data Familiarity with relational databases Experience with the following is desired Clinical trial data management Biomarker assay development Project management or business analysis Data transformation engines such as OpenRefine or Tamr Script development in SAS AWS or other cloud based object storage Spotfire or other data visualization and dashboarding tools Executing API calls for data coordination and analysis Education Bachelor’s degree in a life science or computing field with at least three to five years of experience in data management and analysis.

Graduate degree preferred.
