Your Role:

MilliporeSigma is hiring a Content Development Manager.

In this exciting position you will create target group-oriented technical and marketing content for the Connected Lab Business in Life Science.

You will drive the Connected Lab messaging and product positioning with focused messaging and technical content, taking complex technical topics and communicating them in a clear and concise manner, using the appropriate “voice” for our target customers in Pharma and Life Science. You will take ownership of conceptualizing and writing technical content, including but not limited to tech articles and white papers, landing pages, newsletters, marketing material, blogs, how-to guides, including advertisements for conventional print and digital media.

This also includes optimizing content for search engines (SEO), conducting keyword search, and providing content that continuously brings organic traffic to our websites.

In addition, you will analyze the performance of your copy by KPIs and draw optimizations from it.

You will also manage internal and external editors for content.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Masters degree in Journalism, Public Relations or other Communication, Business, or Science discipline with 3+ years’ experience as technical writer and content builder in a global environment OR 
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations or other Communication, Business, or Science discipline with 5+ years’ experience as technical writer and content builder in a global environment 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with software solutions and digital lab products in Life Science
• Good knowledge of SEO
• Impeccable ability to grasp highly technical concepts and turn them into simple, compelling messages
• Excellent time and priority management; ability to work collaboratively and efficiently under pressure
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
