Basic Purpose

The Consultant Database Specialist reports to the Consultant Database Manager and supports Consultant Database Manager through the maintenance of various consultant databases.

The Consultant Database Specialist’s main responsibility is to gather data from various sources and assist in updating databases in a timely fashion.

The Consultant Database Specialist will also be responsible for updating RFIs that come in directly from Consultants.

This individual should possess high initiative and a have demonstrated ability to work in a strong team environment.

The optimal candidate must possess prior experience; be detail oriented, have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to handle a heavy, deadline-oriented workload.

Primary Responsibilities
Source all required data on a quarterly/monthly basis to populate consultant databases Complete database updates on or before established deadlines Coordinate quarterly consultant request process Establish relationships with our internal Consultant Relationship team as well as external relationships with consultant data contacts Work with Consultant Database Manager to ensure the most accurate information is provided on databases.

Interact with SMEs to obtain specialized data or content Respond to ad-hoc requests from consultants Contribute to the RFP process as needed Assume other responsibilities as required
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree 2-5 years’ experience in the financial services industry Knowledge of eVestment Alliance and other consultant databases and content within Solid understanding of the investment management business including ESG products.

Knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, MSOffice applications, Qvidian, Factset, Morningstar Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Ability to work independently within established guidelines and possesses strong problem solving skills
