Job Description:

  • The role is an individual contributor in Capabilities and Initiatives Management (C&I) in the Document Workflow Operations (DWO) organization within Operations.
  • Primary responsibility will be supporting the configuration, testing, user access, and maintenance of intake forms and fulfillment configuration in the SWFT application being implemented as part of the enterprise workflow simplification project.
  • This role requires skills related to general Operations business processes, understanding business needs for intake form configuration, input screen layouts, data element properties, basic input form testing, configuring user access to forms, and scheduling production deployment of completed forms. Will need to be analytical with strong attention to detail and able to effectively collaborate with teams requesting workflow configuration and technology support partners. 
  • Ability to manage a high volume of configuration requests with varying degrees of complexity and deployment timelines.
  • Majority of configuration work will be performed in the Bank of America SWFT application being developed for enterprise workflow solutions (training provided).
  • Enterprise workflow configuration role responsible for reviewing business requirements, configuring workflow input forms and user access in collaboration with business teams, testing completed forms, scheduling forms for production deployment.  Configuration work may involve diverse business processes and tools. Participates in the design, configuration, and implementation of complex workflow forms and fulfillment flows.  
  • Collaborates with business users and technology partners to implement workflow forms. 
  • May provide configuration direction for individual initiatives.
  • Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource.
  • Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations.
  • May collaborate with business partners, technical support teams, and other configuration resources to coordinate delivery of workflow solutions.
  • Routine accountability is for business process understanding and technical knowledge and capabilities.
  • Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned resources.
  • Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.

Required:

  • 5 or more years’ experience with configuration utilities supporting workflow or business process automation. 
  • Senior configuration developer should have experience configuring input screens, understanding, and selecting appropriate data elements, testing form behaviors, collaborating with requestors and technical partners, and scheduling production deployments.
  • Ability to manage high volume of configuration requests
  • Analytical with the ability to understand complex business processes and configuring complex workflow forms and steps with a strong attention to detail and focus on the user experience.
  • Experience in independently leading the refinement of configuration requirements, managing the configuration life cycle to production implementation.
  • The main function of workflow configuration is to design, test, and deploy workflow forms and fulfillment process in Bank of America developed enterprise workflow applications to support business requirements.
  • Analyze highly complex business requirements; configure workflow forms, selecting data elements, testing completed forms, configuring user access to forms, and scheduling forms for production deployment.
  • Act as an expert technical resource for translating business requirements and building workflow intake forms.
  • Ability to lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special configuration initiatives or operations
