Location: It can be done remotely REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: More than 3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding industry Experience developing new business and improving the current client’s services ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Oversee customer accounts, to be responsible for business development and new sales opportunities Manage business operations, including sales, quality control, customer service, logistics and load tracking, regulatory compliance, and reporting Set and meet individual and company goals, targets, and growth objectives Identify industry trends and maintain current knowledge of market forces, rates, pricing, standards, solutions, and legal standards in the transportation/shipping and logistics industries Research and analyze potential and existing customers and their logistics needs Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract with customers based on the company guidance Manage the customer’s ratings Manage the carrier pick-up and delivery details, instructions, tracking and deadlines to ensure successful completion of loads PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : College Degree
