Cloud AWS Architect

Job Title Cloud AWS Architect Location Spartanburg, SC Duration 6-month Contract JOB SUMMARY The candidate must have 10 years of experience in enterprise application development with demonstrable advanced programming ability specifically, experience designing and building webservices (RESTful preferred), single-page apps and supporting technology (.NET and .NET Core preferred) 3 years of experience in application architecture with portfolio examples demonstrating primary responsibility for design, build, test and deploy 3 years of experience in Cloud architecture (Azure or AWS, AWS preferred) especially with experience in deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, secure, and fault tolerant systems The candidate must also Be an excellent communicator, able to engage business and technical users with efficient, clear and meaningful written and verbal communication specifically, positive and immersive experience in training and mentoring technical staff and generating documentation using tools such as Visio and Confluence Be creative and expressive, able to problem-solve complex issues quickly in an open discussion and with clear focus on exploring innovative options that use the broad gamut of available tools Have obtained at least an AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Pro level) credential.

At least one other AWS cert at the pro or associate level.

The preferred candidate will Have experience migrating workloads from on-premises to AWS Have experience in the financial services industry
