Serves as a senior compliance risk manager for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM)s Testing team responsible for the development and implementation of a strategic Automation and Analytics function supporting Compliance Testing within ICRM.
Also responsible for coordinating with and contributing to the ICRM Innovation and Technology strategy.
Key Activities include:Oversee the development, implementation, and execution of the Compliance Testing Automation program and initiatives.Collaborate with business partners, data engineers and infrastructure partners to gather requirements, extract insights and develop viable solutions.Perform solution reviews and update requirements to align with changing environment needs.Possess a strong sense of visual design to present analytical results with exceptional customer experience as a priority.Active ownership and accountability for tracking on all assigned development and operational projects.Stay current with emerging tools, techniques and technologies in machine learning, statistical modelling & analytics.Overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of the compliance testing, continuous testing, and reporting programs in accordance with the Compliance Testing (CT) Plan.Build and apply new automation solutions for CT processes using big data methods.
Design technical solutions supporting complex data reporting and analytical tasks.Use visualization techniques to display data and the results of analysis in clear form that can be understood by non-technical readers and Senior Stakeholders of the firm.Directing the conceptualization, discovery, planning, development and the release of Automation technology for product line or function, or legal entities globallyManaging a team or multiple teams of Compliance Technology and Data Analytics professionals.
Developing, attracting, and retaining talent; recommending staffing levels required to carry out the units role and responsibilities effectively while establishing and adhering to talent management processes and compensation and performance management programs.Defining resource requirements and budgets for CT Automation and Analytics function.Additional duties as assigned.
Education level and/or relevant experience(s)Required:Bachelors degree; experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; extensive experience inarea of Automation and Data AnalyticPrevious experience managing a diverse staffPrior experience in standing up a automation and data analytics function within an organization (financial services or other)Preferred:Advanced degree (e.G.
MBA) a plus Knowledge and skills (general and technical) Required:15+ years of experienceExtensive global compliance and audit related experience, and strong knowledge of business processes and IT technologies utilized in the Financial Services IndustryPossess strong project management, budgeting, and interpersonal skills, makes sound decisions, and exhibit initiative and intuitive thinkingExecutive presence and a reputation for building strong relationships with stakeholders and leading teams, both direct reports and in peer/influence models.
