1750 Tysons (12023), United States of America, McLean, Virginia Forescout Network Security Engineer The Forescout Network Security Engineer will be responsible for supporting our enterprise network infrastructure, regional hubs and cloud environments.

To include daily intake as well as major projects.

Responsibilities include enforcement of cyber security standards, management of Forescout appliances, automation of security services, and deployment of security solutions.

What you’ll do:Design, implement, and maintain high quality NAC Infrastructure solutionsSupport enterprise network infrastructure, regional hubs and cloud environments.Enforce cyber security standards, automation of security services, and deployment of security solutions.Work collaboratively across teams spanning multiple time zones What we’re looking for:Candidate must demonstrate comprehensive understanding of NAC technology, illustrate extremely solid technical knowledge of products at a large enterprise levelPrevious experience as a NAC engineer; designing, building andsupporting enterprise computing platforms and systemsDemonstrate proficient knowledge of L2 and L3 networksSolid understanding of Cloud / Virtual Compute platforms and their supporting infrastructureSolid understanding of High Availability strategiesFamiliarity with the concepts of infrastructure as code, test driven development and automated deployment of infrastructure solutionsStrong scripting and automation skills in various languages (such as Python, Ruby, BASH, Powershell, etc.)Good communicator who is willing to share and teach amongst peersWillingness to update and contribute to living engineering documentationExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsHands on experience with Cisco ISEHands on experience with Forescout technologiesAbility to work on high level projects and low level network changes.Good to have: knowledge on IDS/IPS, Fabric technologies, zero trust, general network concepts and routing protocolsGood to have certifications: AWS, CCNA, CCNP, CNSA, CSAE, CISSP Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certificationAt least 6 years of experience with VPNs or network designAt least 5 years of experience with Forescout or NACAt least 2 years of experience with 802.1x Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree8+ years of experience with network hardware and software3+ years of Forescout CounterAct administrator experience3+ years of experience in Jira, Service Now, Infoblox or Snowflake2+ years of experience with Cisco IDS/IPS or ISE2+ years scripting and automation experience with Python, Ruby, BASH, or Powershell1+ years of experience with Aruba WLAN1+ years experience with device posturing or IT/OT devicesAWS certificationForescout certification (FSSA or FSCE)CISSP certification At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
