C++ Quantitative Developer with MBS, CDO, ABS Experience Major firm located in Stamford, Connecticut is seeking a full time Quantitative C++ Developer to be a part of their Quantitative Strategies Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and enhancing quantitative libraries that are deployed as part of the firms Mortgage Back Securities, Asset Backed Securities and Collateralized Debt Obligation platforms throughout the firm.
Essential Responsibilities Review requirements, design, develop, test and strive to deliver high-quality maintainable C++ code in an agile SDLC Architect complex software engineering solutions with an emphasis on creating high-performance components Use principles and solid design patterns to develop flexible code for pricing and risk calculations of MBS, ABS and CDO’s Interact and collaborate with a number of external groups effectively including Technology, Front Office and Risk Communicate effectively with upper management and team members The firm is seeking a strong Quantitative C++ Developer Experience Warranted for this role Minimum of ten to fifteen years of C++ Development experience with the last seven years to include Quant development experience Seven years of MBS development experience Seven years of ABS (Asset Backed Securities) development experience Seven years of CDO development experience Three years minimum of Python experience The salary for this role will be in the range of 250,000 to 295,000 plus an outstanding benefits package for the ideal candidate.
