We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer for FinTech Knowledge Services Team.

The Knowledge Services team is responsible for developing big data platform and data services for Amazon’s global finance teams.

Our big data platform handles Amazon wide financial data at the grain of business events, including online customer transactions.

We innovate in processing trillions of records in near real time and providing self-service capabilities to our customers to perform data transformation, computations and reconciliation.

We build controls and auditing capabilities for our users to perform their tasks with a high degree of confidence and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have strong Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing and Reporting skills, be highly collaborative and have a high level of customer focus.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer in FinTech, you will leverage data analysis and data mining tools to provide regular reporting and analysis to the Finance teams.

You will be responsible for providing technical expertise related to data and analytics, providing intelligence to support risk mitigation projects and ensure our processes are efficient, standardized, automated and scalable.

Basic Qualifications 3 years of experience as an analyst or engineer in the data/BI space Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools Experience with SQL Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering or statistics is required 5 years of relevant work experience with ETL development, data modeling, data warehousing, SQL, Tableau, databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets and Scripting Strong proficiency in MS Excel and databases including MySQL, Redshift, and Oracle.

Experience with Reporting/Analytical tools including Tableau, QuickSight, Power BI and MS Excel Experience using Python or other scripting language to automate data retrieval, cleansing, transformations etc Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting Experienced working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment and comfortable navigating conflicting priorities and ambiguous problems Must have a demonstrable track record of delivering results.
