You will report to the Director of Business Intelligence, and will play an important role in Pings commitment to continuously evolve primary business intelligence systems.
As a BI Developer/Data Scientist you will perform a range of project activities as assigned including Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Data Visualization.
The ability to work with all levels of management, gain a quick understanding of new business process areas and technologies, and create successes out of unstructured challenges will determine your success.
You Will:
- Design, develop and implement Store Procedures, Functions and other artifacts in TSQL
- Design, develop and implement the ETL process using SSIS, Airflow, Python, including data quality and testing
- Design, develop and implement solutions using the Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SSMS) and AWS micro-services such as Python, Airflow and Lambda functions
- Experience using SSMS for design of tables, views, common table expressions, foreign key constraints, and stored procedures
- Data Science using R Studio and Python
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or advanced visualization software
- Could Experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- ***Experience with PII and Sensitive Data required
- Functional/Technical Design documents
- Develop Training materials focused on end-users for multiple departments
- Support the install and configuration of various MS-SQL BI infrastructure, using referenced project documentation
- Work with other team members to implement solutions in a timely manner
- Assist management with prioritization of projects and establishing accurate timelines for implementation
- Enforce best technical practices for the BI infrastructure to enhance user experience
- Coach and mentor BI team members on BI development/Data Science
- Other duties and responsibilities performed as assigned., policies, tools, and partnerships expand and mature these capabilities
You Have:
- 6+ years of professional experience in BI or Data Science field
- Experience implementing business intelligence or financial systems
- 2+ Years of experience working with Salesforce
- Experience in all phases of Waterfall and Agile software development lifecycle methodologies
- Motivated and comfortable adapting to change and competing demands
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Physics, Business, or related field
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or other advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Experience mentoring more junior BI resources
- Experience implementing business intelligence best practices
