Find your future with us.At Boeing, we are looking for a Systems Engineer 2: F-22 Training Systems with knowledge of Systems Engineering processes, including requirements development & verification, integration, and configuration management to work hands-on in a development lab environment.
We are looking for an individual interested in simulating aircraft performance for the world’s premier 5th Gen Fighter with strong interpersonal skills to work with subject matter experts as well as peers on the team to create quality products that meet the needs of the F-22 pilot community at our Berkeley, MO location.
Position Responsibilities:Collaborating within a cross-functional team to reach decisions that are mutually acceptable to multiple engineering and support teamsWriting performance, specification, and compliance requirements for the Pilot Training SystemVerifying software in a development lab environmentHardware-Software Integration (HSI) tasks This position requires an active U.S.
Security Clearance.
(A U.S.
Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) An interim and/or final U.S.
Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Export Control Requirement:This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.
120.15 is required.
US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.Basic knowledge of software development processesExperience working with requirements and/or verification proceduresExperience with configuration management tools Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Basic knowledge of training systems architectureThe ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectivelyExperience with software development of models and simulations in a development and/or production environmentExperience working with a United States Air Force customerExperience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile methodology Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.
Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.
Master).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard Relocation:This position does offer relocation to eligible candidates.
