Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Software DevSecOps Engineer (Level 5) (Virtual) to join our ecosystem development team.
The ecosystem team is focused on developer experience and driving the latest technologies into the development environment to enable faster deployment of software products.This position requires a deep understanding of compilers, establishing hermetic builds, continuous test/integration/deployment, unit testing, requirement testing, artifact management, and configuration management.
As part of the ecosystem team, you will work to establish the development and test environment utilized across certifiable software at The Boeing Company.
This position requires the candidate to have a full-stack mindset and be involved in continuous improvement of the software development environment and tools utilized.Position Responsibilities:Develops, documents and maintains DevSecOps implementation for the teamExecute/assist in trade studies for tool selections across The Boeing CompanyConfigure and customize tools to enable automationEstablish orchestration and pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of software productsCreates and organizes a well-defined, estimated and prioritized set of initiatives, epics and stories to maintain a robust backlog for time-phasing and planningParticipates in daily scrums, using agile practices, to communicate clearly and openly on incremental progress and to inform the team of any help needed on impediments and roadblocks and suggest timely remedies for common ailments during retrospectionsThis position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in Mesa, Arizona.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.
PhD+9 years’ related work experience, Master+12 years’ related work experience).
