Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an F15 Mission Systems Software Engineer (Level 2) to join the F15 Mission Systems Software team located in St.

Louis, MO.

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to design and implement new capabilities in the F-15 Operational Flight Program (OFP) for both the United States Air Force (USAF) and international customers.

The candidate will join one of the Agile scrum teams that cover a wide range of aircraft functionality.

Software capabilities will be developed for the Advanced Display Core Processor II (ADCP II), the brains of the Eagle.

The successful candidate will implement and test new cutting-edge capabilities and integrate them with a variety of other aircraft subsystems.

Position Responsibilities:Assists with the development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systemsDevelops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software systemAssists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are metSupports software project management and software supplier management functionsSelects, tailors and deploys processes and tools; establishes metricsPerforms software research and trade studiesTroubleshoots software issuesWorks under general supervision This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Pre-Start).

Required Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):Ability to obtain Secret US Security Clearance (Pre-Start)Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree1+ years of experience in C/C++ and/or Ada1+ years of experience in Object Oriented Design and Programming Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Agile/SAFe development experienceExperience with DevOps tools, such as GitLab (CI/CD), Git Bash, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, and ArtifactoryDesirable programming languages include: Ada, C, C++, PythonExperience with VxWorks Operating System.

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

Master)In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard Travel: Occasional travel may be required but would be less than 10%.

Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
