Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an F/A 18 Cloud/DevSecOps Engineer (Level 3) to join the F/A 18 Applications Development Team within the F/A 18 Mission Systems organization in Berkeley, MO.

This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) businessorganization.

The F/A-18 organization is seeking a Cloud/DevSecOps Engineer to help us take our game to the next level.

We are currently looking for talented individuals to help us stand up our new software development tool chain in AWS GovCloud.

In this role, you will be a part of the F/A-18 DevSecOps transformation team.

The successful candidate will help lead in the design and implementation of our cloud solution and maintain a modern system deployment to the cloud environment with a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows for system build, test and deploy.

We operate as a fast-paced agile team and are interested in candidates who have proven skills in DevSecOps, Cloud environments, software development and system automation.

Position Responsibilities:Leads analysis, design, develop and implementation activities to install, configure and maintain infrastructure, software and components in cloud platform utilizing everything as code, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC), for deploymentsLeads activities to ensure alignment of use cases and objectives with architecture and securityDevelops guidelines and best practices for cloud-oriented development & implementationsProvides guidance and direction to cloud developers and administratorsTroubleshoots application deployment issuesResearch/analyze issues (such as application integration, performance etc.) and provide recommendations and resolution PotentialSigningBonus for Eligible/Qualified candidate.

This position allows telecommuting.

The selected candidate may be required to work onsite at least 2 days a week at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Required Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start)Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering and/or a Technical discipline2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure etc.3+ years of experience with object oriented software development (C/C++, Java)3+ years of experience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps tool chain (Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, etc)1 plus years hands on experience with Terraform1 plus years hands on experience with Ansible1 plus years hands on experience with Cloud Containers Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience using Agile or SAFe methodologyAWS Certification (Certified Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate, Cloud Practitioner) Experience in deploying, administering, maintaining and upgrading one or more of these applications: Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or JFrog ArtifactoryExperience with automation and provisioning of cloud environmentsHands on experience in AWS services e.G.

VPC, IAM, EC2, Auto-scaling, ELB, ECR, S3, DynamoDB, Postgres (RDS), Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS, VPC, Route 53, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, AWS Config, Cloudtrail, AWS Developer Tools etc.Experience leading AWS solutions design and deployment of enterprise-scale applicationsExperience developing guidelines and best practices for cloud-oriented development & implementations including containers and container orchestration Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience)In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard Travel: Occasional travel may be required but would be less than 10%.
