Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join the Phantom Works Advanced Autonomous Systems (AAS) team located in Berkeley, MO.

This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) businessorganization.

Phantom Works is an advanced research and development organization responsible for engaging customers through cutting-edge visual modeling and simulation; innovating cross-cutting concepts and technologies; prototyping solutions to extend current products and win new programs; and developing new businesses and entering new markets.

The selected individual will work with a small group to provide Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CI) capabilities to AAS department.

The selected individual will work with AAS product teams and other Boeing DevSecOps & CI/CD services to create a DevSecOps capability within AAS.

The selected individual will initially work closely with one AAS product team to build a foundation of tools and best practices for DevSecOps integration and then share these practices with other product teams.

The selected individual should be familiar with DevSecOps workflows and be able to explain their benefits and constraints.

Position Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain software environments enabling DevSecOps and CI/CD for the AAS department.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support workflows across a range of domains including: software engineering, autonomous system development, cloud systems, distributed computing and machine learningParticipate in use case development for software requirements.Coordinate with software product teams to integrate DevSecOps and CI/CD into their workflows.Coordinate with existing Boeing DevSecOps and CI/CD services.Participate in peer reviews and demonstrations.Develop system interface definitions.Write user documentation.Mentor and instruct engineers on how to use supported frameworks and tools.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.

Security Clearance for which the U.S.

Government requires U.S.

Citizenship.

Ability to obtain Top Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start).

This position allows telecommuting.

The selected candidate may be required to work onsite approximately two days a week in Berkeley, MO.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Ability to obtain Top Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start)1+ years experience in professional software engineering1+ years experience object oriented programming3+ years experience with commercial cloud computing such as AWS, GCP, or Azure3+ years experience with CI/CD workflows3+ years experience with Docker and Kubernetes3+ years experience with managing automation tools in distributed environments Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with GovCloud variants of commercial cloud environmentsExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab or Bitbucket, and ArtifactoryExperience with Agile Software development processesExperience with developing software on Windows and LinuxExperience with Data Science, Machine Learning, or HPC workflowsExperience with OpenPBS, Slurm, or other resource management toolsExperience with automated testing Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

Master) In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:This position is located in Berkeley, MO and relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
