Responsibilities: Bitglass is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our SmartEdge development team, delivering the industry’s most innovative cloud native Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architecture.

You will be responsible for architecting and developing highly scalable L4-7 networking and security software for cloud and endpoint based proxies.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent 5 years of development experience in L4-7 networking and/or proxy technologies Strong experience in C/C++ programming Good knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Web Applications and Proxies Broad technical knowledge of internet products and technologies, data security/protection Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with diverse teams Experience in handling support activities like incident logging, initial troubleshooting, doing root cause analysis and updating the knowledge base Ready to work in flexible hours Nice to haves: Experience with Python, Golang, Bash and Linux Windows Security products such as firewalls, proxies, inspection engines, classification engines Experience with cloud based product development Continuous integration and deployment Agile practices and iterative development Experience in troubleshooting DNS, IP Networking, HTTPS/SSL, and Application security Perks: Stock options and 401k plan Generous company-paid medical/dental/vision/life coverage.
