• Data Office International Banking
• Project: Completing data governance activities and documenting metadata, data profiling and data lineage Will be working with the team in international banking
• The successful candidate will have the opportunity to use cloud-based technology and containerized solutions such as Terino and Airflow and Jupiter Hub.

  Generally, the profiling would be completed using Python and R.

  This opportunity is great for someone who is eager to learn

• Contacting subject matter experts across international banking to complete data governance activities: documenting metadata, data profiling and data lineage
• Learning/Using data governance tools such as Universal Catalogue
• Interacting with a team of data engineer to share knowledge and ideas, and ensure you are up to date with the department’s standards and procedures.
• Will be tweaking existing code to build profiles; the role is not too technical and is more focused on completing governance activities
• Building relationships with internal and external (international) stakeholders
• Keeping up with project deadlines and turnaround
• Following up with SMEs for completion of documents and approvals

Bilingual Data Engineer
– Python/SQL – Mandatory Skills

• Verbal and written Spanish
• 3-5 years experience with Python and SQL
• 5+ years experience working in a similar role as a data analyst/engineer.
• Proficiency with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, Redshift, etc.)
• Verbal and Written Communication (English and Spanish)
• Relationship building
• Post-graduate in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

Bilingual Data Engineer
– Python/SQL – Nice to Have Skills

• R is an asset
• Previous banking/FI experience is an asset
• Data modelling and warehousing experience would be a plus
