BI Reporting Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce is looking for a BI Reporting Software Engineer for a client in Mission, KS.

Summary: This SQL Software Developer with reporting and BI experience will help with the design, implementation and maintenance of the reporting solution infrastructure with a new generation of software.

This person should have experience with SQL Server (2014, 2017 and higher), experience with Microsoft Power BI and/or other industry related standard reporting visualization tools and generators as well as the ability to read manuals, technical whitepapers, requirement documentation and deliver development solutions that meet quality assurance standards.

This position will be remote until further notice and the work hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities: Designs report visuals and collaborates with development to ensure requisite data is available in the system Designs, enhances and maintains existing reporting infrastructure to improve presentation of reporting data to internal and external customers Designs, develops and enhances reporting schemas and ETL processes to facilitate reporting on application data Work with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements for reports Researches existing trends in reporting and visuals and recommends products and software development efforts Expansions of reporting/data analytics infrastructure Works and functions as a member of a team or small group Agile based teams for software development Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience Experience with reporting visuals Experience with SQL development Experience with database design Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
