Azure Lead Developer

Job Description

Infosys is seeking Azure developers and you will be responsible for developing optimized high-quality deliverables for migrating the end client’s legacy data warehousing and reporting landscape to cloud platform.

Provide functional and technical leadership including high
– and low-level design, design reviews, code deliverable reviews, implement prototypes, unit testing reviews, signoff code release for QA, deployment and post-production support.

The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, able to highlight issues and delays both internally/externally and able to deliver to client according to agreed specifications/delivery timelines

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofChicago, IL or be willing to relocate to the area.

  This position may require travel in the US and Canada.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.

  Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• 4+ years of Information Technology experience
• 2+ years of DWH Maintenance and Enhancements
• 1+ years of Azure experience
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
• U.S.

  citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in Azure Data bricks, Azure Data factory
• Hands on SQL Server programming and excellent understanding of various ETL concepts
• IT Service management experience, experience with problem management, incident management.
• Excellent communication skills
• Creating tasks/roadmap for the team, tracking tasks/defects/incidents, plan rota for off working & weekend support, present project status to the client management, team management.
• Articulate & presentation skills on ideas, statuses to the senior leadership from the client side.
• Flexibility to work on shifts & rotationally on weekends.
• Experience in retail domain will be preferred.
• Experience in Teradata, Microstrategy and power BI will be a plus
• Experience working in Agile environment
