As part of this fast-paced Government Care Center Operations team, you will get to work with cutting edge technology on a daily basis as you directly support our VIP customers to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, networking, and configurations issues.
Using your keen technical analysis skills and quick on-your-feet adeptness, you will perform proactive maintenance as well as deploy new systems and features across the globe.
You are a problem solver with sharp attention to detail and the ability to create a paper trail for others to follow.
Your technical skills allow you to resolve issues that puzzle others, with timely response times and quality solutions.
This is an entry-level Aviation Network Technician position which monitors, troubleshoots and maintains the proprietary system on VIP aircraft as well as the associated satellite and ground network systems to ensure 100 reliability and customer satisfaction.
Technicians interface with on board personnel and service providers around the world to perform these duties.
The role is intended to become a springboard into more experienced level roles, supervisory positions and other career tracks.
What you’ll be doing bull Provide support and assistance for VIP aircraft monitoring and troubleshooting bull Participates in additional support functions related to NOC and Operations department as needed What we’re looking for bull Baseline technical aptitude and a hunger to learn more bull Networking knowledge bull Strong communication skills (oral and written) bull Strong commitment to customer service bull Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision Requirements bull 2 years’ experience in managing and troubleshooting both hardware and software elements involved in IP networking, satellite communications, andor cloud services bull 3 years’ experience in a Technical Support or NOC role bull Prior experience working with LinuxUnix bull Prior experience with RF Satellite or Wireless Communication systems bull Associates Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology, or comparable workmilitary experience bull Ability to work a flexible schedule in a 24×7 environment bull Experience with the use of Network Monitoring Systems bull US Government position.
US Citizenship required bull Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain when administratively feasible Preferences bull 2 years working with RF or satellite communications bull Linux certification bull Prior experience with CRM and defect tracking systems, such as Salesforce or JIRA bull LDAP Experience bull Familiarity with UNIXLINUX configuration, and ability to capture and interpret network traces strongly preferred bull Candidates must be comfortable working as part of a distributed global team.
