Duration 3 Month Company Background Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for a Connected Vehicle Machine Learning System Developer to be part of its team in its North American operations.

Description The team has developed proof of concept machine learning based connected vehicle system that uses DSRC wireless devices in between multiple vehicles.

This platform is used to test various vehicular applications.

The corporate partner will be responsible for developing outdoor version of the existing platform on multiple cars.

As part of the research team, the corporate partner will be responsible for Understanding the existing test vehicle platform and its various components Developing applications that utilize Deep Learning and DSRC communications on the test vehicle platform Develop visualizer tools for the applications Integrate, test and document the entire proof of concept system Requirements Qualifications MS in Computer Science, or related field.

At least 3 years of coding experience.

Required Skills Excellent Python, C++ coding and object-oriented design skills Experience on using deep learning tools such as PyTorch or Tensor Flow Experience in ROS and RViz Experience in Qt Experience on socket programming and multi-threading Knowledge of algorithms and data structures Design documentation (e.g.

system diagrams, development methodology, etc.) Strong knowledge and experience of implementing software algorithms Additional Skills Experience in vehicular communication protocols NOTE
