HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE :

The primary function of the Controls Engineer will be to support multiple facilities electrical and control systems, equipment automation, system upgrades and integration, programming, as well as capital projects, engineering scoping, design, project, and capital management.

Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):

  • Maintain and upgrade production control systems including equipment and programming.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment control problems.
  • Responsible for developing and managing project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Build and maintain vendor and partner relationships on equipment and control systems.
  • Work with the engineering team on design of new systems including calculations, material specifications, layouts, equipment, and facility upgrade recommendations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

  • 3+ years experience with automation/controls and production plant equipment automation including programming
  • Proficient with AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willing to be hands on and dig in as needed

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Proficiency in the use of MS office applications
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, including but not limited to structural, machine design.
  • Solid works, or other engineering software
