This opportunity is a paid fall internship.Job DutiesThe Automation QA Intern will join the Products & Technology Parts Team working on new, emerging, and existing software products.

The candidate must be able to ensure the product meets the needs specified in the requirements and analysis documents of the project.

This includes review of the requirements and design documentation; review of user documentation and product-related documentation; and preparing, conducting and reporting the results of an acceptance test plan which is cost effective given the risk of the project.Job DescriptionCreate and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on requirementsCreate requirements traceability matrix and identify test coverageExecute test automation scriptsCollaborate with software engineering as needed to resolved problems and identify root cause of product defectsCreate, maintain and execute and analyze test automation scripts, frameworks, programs and utilitiesCreate progress reports and report status to the Quality Assurance ManagerLocal candidates preferredQualificationsIf you are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experienceHands-on experience with Selenium and JavaKnowledge of Cucumber FrameworkKnowledge of Performance TestingExperience with any test automation tools is a plus (Selenium, QTP, Test Complete, RFT, SilkTest, Ranorex, Jmeter, etc.)Minimum 1 year Quality Assurance experience testing commercial softwareTesting experience in an Agile environmentExperience testing web servicesExperience with relational databases and SQLFamiliarity with any defect tracking systems; version control systems; test management systemsWorking ability with Microsoft OfficeUses design, programming & analytical skills to solve problemsJavaScript, VBScript, C# or Java programming is a PLUSExcellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsExcellent time management skillsInsurance or automotive industry experience a plusPDN-9475f4da-25e9-4449-9904-b66073b67032SDL2017
