Introduction to the jobWe are looking for a highly talented individual to join our software quality assurance team.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and executing software test plan and test cases, test methodologies and test automation that are leading the way in assuring high quality of ASML world-class products.
You will be challenged with high skill quality testing methodologies in concurrent computing software architecture environment.
You will have the opportunity to work with software developers, hardware engineers and the application engineering organization on a regular basis.Role and responsibilitiesThe Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer for optical proximity correction is responsible for architecting test strategies and automation infrastructure, in addition to creating, implementing and automating testing in support of high quality of ASML world-class products.In this position, you will plan and execute computation density tests,report and debug problems, manage regression for new and existing modules.
You will have the opportunity to work on high performance cluster to optimize advanced technote chip designs,exploit geometry/image processing algorithms and modeling techniques in computational lithograph.
You will work closely with software development and the application engineering team on a regular basis.Education and experiencePhD, Master’s for Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, AppliedMathematics, Physics, Applied Physics, or any related engineering or equivalent experiencesTwo to Three years of experience in commercial software product development and/or testingProficient in one of programming languages: C/C++, Python, Java, Perl or shell scriptingGood understanding of operating system, relational database, concurrent computing,client/server architecture, network protocols, and file system management.Very strong understanding of software lifecycle and quality engineering methodologyGood numerical analysis and logic thinking skillsHands-on working experience in Unix and WindowsExcellent problem solving and trouble shooting skillsAbility to excel in cross functional, team environmentExperience in Linux/Unix testing environmentKnowledge on optics or microlithography is preferred.SkillsWorking at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that.
