RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client seeking an Application Support II/Tester in Deerfield Beach, FL.
Summary: Application support analysts provide application maintenance and support to organizations and companies to minimize service disruption and facilitate operations.
They investigate problems with software applications, diagnose root causes, and work on fixing them.
Their job entails the development, integration, and configuration of business applications used across the organization and ensuring that all applications comply with relevant standards and regulations.
Application support analysts are also responsible for identifying known errors and problem trends and for finding permanent solutions.
They frequently help with training of new staff and provide expert advice and support to departments across the organization.
They are also tasked with defining application support standards and processes and writing the related documentation.
Application support analysts typically implement new business applications, analyze the requirements of end users, and then test and integrate applications.
Analysts will generally be responsible for planning application system upgrades, installation of new releases, and migration.
Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: Application support analysts must have a specialist knowledge of technical applications and a good understanding of operating systems, computers, and applications software; Previous experience with implementing new software and administrating systems is a strong advantage Strong communication skills are a must, both written and verbal, as application support analysts work closely with business systems support analysts and other specialists, and they occasionally train new employees and write technical reports, so they must be able to both speak and write clearly and concisely Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
