Boeing’s Advanced Design and Prototype Solutions (ADaPS) organization in Huntsville, AL is looking to fill multiple software engineering positions in the organization including mid-career software engineer(s) capable of contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirements, architecture, implementation, and verification). ADaPS (an organization of over 100 engineers spanning software, systems, and mechanical domains) supports programs across the entire portfolio of Boeing products including Space Launch Systems (SLS), Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD), Commercial Space Crew Transportation System (CCTS), B-52 and B-1 Bomber modernization, the Navy’s autonomous refueling MQ-25 vehicle, Advanced Missile Defense efforts including the Multiple Object Kill Vehicle and hypervelocity missile defense (HYVINT), and commercial cargo aircraft automation projects. ADaPS specializes in executing rapid prototyping and development programs utilizing small, responsive Agile teams. Position Responsibilities:
ADaPS is looking to fill multiple software engineering positions. The successful candidate(s) will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirements, architecture, implementation, and verification). The successful candidate(s) will work in small Agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills and will be expected to use their talents to tackle complex problems on a variety of programs. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for developing technical products, plans, documentation, and briefings in support of program requirements.

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
