Would be good to have some code porting experience from another OS to linux.

C C++ Migrations on Linux Migrating C++ Executable files from Solaris AIX to Linux.

Migrating C++ Codes from one flavour of UNIX to another flavour.

Analysing core dumps and using gdb Fundamental skills ( To my screening team Mandatory to look in even before asking job specific exp) 6.

Finding dependencies from header files and Namespaces 7.

Comfortable with handling pointers, data structures 8.

Experience in understanding Unix commands and shell scripting
