Here, you will make an impact by: + Developing new, object-oriented versions of our health care classification components, utilizing the Java stack.

+ Be an active member of an agile team by participating in all phases of SDLC, including design, software development and code reviews as needed + Coordinate with internal/external teams and identify and promote desired software enhancements + Maintain product backlog for a development team + Assist with developing software components based on requirements, architecture, and design specifications + Working in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment, utilizing EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, Cloud Formation, Glue and Athena as part of our modernization strategy.+ Extending our web-based content management system using various Java frameworks and a relational database backend.

+ Creating and automating component unit tests, measuring and improving software performance, and taking pride in the quality of component deliverables.

+ Documenting technical aspects of components and modules for technical users and end-user documentation.

+ Work with fellow software engineers, software architects, quality (QA) engineers, full-stack developers, and other engineering/development team members to design and build required systems + Coordinate and communicate with other product owners, clinical analysts, product analysts, quality analysts, product development managers and other software engineers + Adhere to team design and coding procedures and standards + Interact with stakeholders to resolve operational problems and determine customer requirements + Actively participate in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards complies with corporate policies and procedures, and act in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standards.

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:+ Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution ?

– + High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and eight (8) years of experience in Software Development?

+ Three (3) years of experience in a software development environment working with one or more programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, JavaScript, Python + One (1 ) years of experience in a product management, product owner, scrum master, and/or a development lead role Preferred Qualifications (Technical Product Owner): + Demonstrated track record of delivering high-visibility projects on a tight timeline + The ability to communicate with technical team members and clients with a deep understanding of the SDLC + Familiarity with continuous integration + Experience working in an Agile environment with strong test automation and continuous deployment + Experience with source control tools such as Git, etc.

+ Solid understanding of Java, Python or similar languages, object-oriented design, software design principles and architectural patterns + Proficiency with an IDE (Eclipse, InteliJ, Netbeans, Visual Studio) for debugging, code completion, searching, performance metrics, etc.+ Ability to work in a team environment.+ Proficiency with software configuration management concepts (source control, build automation, e.g.

GIT, Jenkins, Maven or Ant)+ Experience with SQL and relational database design such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgresSQL.+ Experience with cloud architectures (AWS, etc.) is a plus + Healthcare domain experience in an IT, Software Engineering, or Software Development role.

+ Familiarity with health care claims processing software and/or clinical classification methodologies is highly desirable.+ Interest and ability to quickly learn and apply new tools, coding languages and technologies (e.g.

The targeted compensation range for this position is $125,775
– $153,725.

This targeted compensation range is specific to Colorado residents and can vary based on qualifications, business needs, etc.
