Consider joining our team today JOB OVERVIEWMartinFederal is seeking a high-energy and self-motivating Technical Recruiter to join our growing corporate office in Huntsville, AL.

The Technical Recruiter is responsible for interviewing, testing and referring applicants for, but not limited to, Informational Technology, System Engineering, Technical Training, for both cleared and uncleared positions throughout the Company.

This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all specialized functions in the company, government contract industry experience, a basic understanding of the company’s organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in-person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, and makes recommendations for hire (or not hire).Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.Utilize knowledge of innovative recruiting sources to pro-actively & creatively source, screen, evaluate and network with candidates.Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.Works with Human Resource Manager to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.Maintain ApplicantPro ATS with accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and candidate sourcing.Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree or higher.

1 to 3 years proven success recruiting cleared professionals in the government contracting field or related technical field.Ability to obtain and/or maintain security clearance preferred, not required.Proven recruiting expertise and experience in resume writing.Ability and experience to articulate complex requisition requirements along with negotiation and closing skills.

Experience managing the full life cycle recruiting process.

Excellent verbal, communication, interpersonal, presentation and writing skills.

DOL, HRIS, ATS (ApplicantPro), AAP Experience.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS General office environment.

The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.

Some walking, standing, bending, reaching, and carrying of light items such as papers and books.
