Job Description The Sr.

Human Resources Generalist provides support to both the laboratory facilities and to the internal NDSC and NSC colleagues.

Responsible for implementing and administering HR programs and procedures and advising leaders on Human Resources related issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide HR advice and guidance for leaders throughout the organization.

• Serves as a liaison between employees and the NSC, so that questions and concerns will be addressed promptly and appropriately.

Active involvement primarily when/if customer service process has breakdown.

• Company ownership for employee engagement including surveys, metrics, program maintenance, and implementation of new initiatives.

• Key partner for Vice President of Human Resources in the achievement of yearly HR Goals & Objectives.

• HR content leader for company intranet, so accurate and current information is provided to all employees.

• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of applicable HR Standard Operating Procedures.

• Provides backfill support for Human Resources Business Partners due to capacity constraints, or time off.

• Maintains legacy personnel and other HR files according to guidelines to remain in compliance with corporate policies and federal guidelines.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources; prefer Masters in Human Resources.

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Human Resources department, including overall HR responsibility for 250-500 employees.

Prefer experience working with employees located in different states.

Experience developing cost-effective solutions that link to business strategy.

PHR or SPHR preferred

• Identify and analyze current HR trends for application within the organization
• Plan strategically and implement plans according to a pre-established timeline
• Ability to identify, articulate and determine implications of patterns of behavior in groups of individuals
